Donde todo empieza

Our history

We make love in the vineyard.
This is our story of love, knowledge and endeavor, which started with our winegrower great grandparents from Traspinedo and ...continues with us, Emilio Lubiano and Mónica Peñas in
Pesquera de Duero, Valladolid.

Love, work and respect for the land and the quality of our wines is the goal of this family project in order to make wine with its own identity in the denomination of origin Ribera del Duero.

Our surroundings

Different vineyards to make a great wine
Our winery is located in the D.O. Ribera del Duero golden mile, in Pesquera de Duero.

Our wines are made of grapes from our own vineyards. Some of them grow around the winery while others are in plots with a variety of weather and land that gives our wines complexity and elegance.

Our wines

Complex but subtle and elegant wines
We make our wines with one word elegance in mind. Always looking for the velvety of the wine in the mouth.

The winery

Winery with winebar located in the golden mile of Ribera del Duero
The Dominio Lubiano winery, surrounded by its vineyard, is situated in the golden mile in Pesquera. With spectacular views such as the 18th century baroque hermitage of Nuestra Señora de Rubialejos it is nearby a cistercian monastery dated from the 12th-16th centuries in Valbuena.

The avant-garde building has been designed with solid concrete and transparent crystal. It has clean lines, light neutral tones to unite vineyards, winery and history with exclusive aesthetics and functionality to make our wines.

We grow twenty-five hectares of vineyards in total of the calcareous soil tempranillo variety. Of all the vineyards we highlight one plot of nine hectares with a viewpoint overlooking the golden mile in la Ribera de Duero.
